Marblehead Elementary | A Ryan Schramm Exclusive
I had a chance to sit down with Dr. Faith Morris, Principal of Marblehead Elementary School, to discuss their unique environmental studies academy, school garden, outdoor classroom and much more.
This amazing school encourages parents to volunteer in the classroom at all grade levels. "It's wonderful for parents to be in the room working with small groups or helping the students or their teachers prepare materials," says Morris.
The district averages about 30 students per class, but Marblehead is Title One allowing it extra funding bringing class sizes down a little bit to 28 per class. "Teachers know the students in other classes and support each other to help those students," explains Morris.
