Are Home Warranties Worth It? | Home Warranty Questions & Answers

To follow up on your questions and comments about home warranties, I created this refresher video to offer additional information and a little bit more detail on home warranties and how they work.

Many times, when you purchase a house, the seller is going to offer a home warranty. There are a number of different coverages that you, as a buyer, can select for your home warranty, however, the seller will typically include a cap on the dollar amount that they are willing to pay.

If you are in the process of buying a home and you are getting a home warranty, take the time to do some research on the coverages that are provided. Is the roof covered? Is the pool covered? Is the plumbing covered?
